How to use the Treasure Coast spore syringe

A luer lock stopper is located on the end of the syringe where the needle goes, keeping the Treasure Coast spore solution inside. It is simpler to move and store the Treasure Coast spore syringe with this luer lock stopper installed.

Maintain the highest level of hygiene while working. Put on a mask, sterile gloves, and/or hand sanitizer. The luer lock stopper of the Treasure Coast spore syringe should be facing upward as you hold it in front of you. Screwing the luer lock stopper counterclockwise will remove it. To attach the needle to the Treasure Coast spore syringe, remove it from the sterile package. Before removing the protective cap from the needle, shake the spore syringe vigorously for ten seconds.

Dropping the spore solution onto the substrate

You can inject the Treasure Coast spore solution directly onto your own substrate or cakes after preparing them. Drops of spore solution should emerge from the needle as you slowly press the plunger. Spread out these droplets over the substrate so that they come into contact with it on all sides. This will allow the mycelium to colonize the substrate uniformly.

How many cakes can be produced using a spore syringe?

Easily colonize 6 liters (13 pints) of substrate with a single 20cc spore syringe.

Injection through injection ports

The spore solution is dropped onto the substrate in a manner that is nearly equivalent to this. Removing the port protective cap will reveal the injection port. Clean the injection port entry with an alco prep. By using the needle, pierce the hole. Now dispense the spore solution uniformly over the substrate within the spawn bag or grow box. How to store a spore syringe

A temperature range of 2°C to 8°C, or 35°F to 46°F, should be used to store the Treasure Coast spore syringe in the refrigerator. Following their departure from our warehouse, the spore syringes have a minimum shelf life of 12 months.
