Blue Meanie Mushroom Spores

$23.00

This specimen, originally made and renamed by a mycologist known only as “The Keeper,” has caused a great deal of uncertainty in the mycology community. Long before “The Keeper” started selling the Blue Meanie Cubensis, a Panaeolus Cyanescens variation went by the nickname “Blue Meanie”. They are not connected, to be clear.

This variety’s origins and history are not well known, although it is believed that its brilliant blue bruise upon touch gave rise to its name.

Thick stems and medium to huge, frequently golden-brown at the center and turning white at the edges, caps are produced by Blue Meanie.

For the intermediate spore researcher, Blue Meanie is appropriate.

10cc syringe that is generously packed, together with a 1.5″
